the track is called "clouded" due to it being about having a clouded mind/clouded thoughts, specifically in regards to daydreaming about someone who you don't know that well, or may even know, but your imagination takes it too far.

you turn the person into someone you wish they were (but aren't) and you fall in love with the idea of who they could be to you, thinking that's them.
